Following our previous nine incredible charity rallies where we have helped raise in excess of 1.2 million for various charities, we would like to invite you to enter the 2025 Charity Banger Rally Challenge ~ Monopoli or Bust. For those who have not taken part in our past rallies, this we can assure you is an opportunity of a lifetime and will give you a trip to remember, driving on some of Europe’s finest and most scenic roads. The only snag is that your car has to cost under £750 to be entered into the Banger Rally category or you may just like to drive a vehicle of your choice which you will not be eligible to the prize money but you can still raise huge amounts of money for charity. The rally will start on Saturday 27th September leaving St Austell (Cornwall) and finishing in Monopoli on Friday 3rd October.
Teams are invited to raise money for our local charities Cornwall Hospice Care, Marie Curie, Children’s Hospice South West and the Merlin MS Centre, or you could raise money for a Charity/Organization of your choice, but we don’t make it a condition of entry. Over the years the Banger Rally Challenge has managed to raise just over £1,200,000 for charities across the UK. This year we want to better that again!
Managing to coax your chosen wreck to the finish point should be rewarding enough but at the final night’s presentation ceremony, over £2000 worth of cash prizes will be awarded to the teams scoring the most points in each of the daily tasks and the overall winner will also receive a cash prize and a suitable trophy! A prize of £300 will be awarded for the most imaginative / decorated car and their occupants. This year’s theme is in the title and there will be additional prizes for the teams that do past ‘GO’!!
Since the first Banger Rally Challenge in 2011, it is impossible to measure the number of memories, experiences and new friendships made. It truly is the experience of a lifetime, now it’s your turn!
The entry fee is £395 per vehicle with up to two team members, plus £95 per person for additional team members.
